Galago gallarum

The Somali lesser galago (Galago gallarum) is a small, poorly known, nocturnal primate that lives in dryer habitats than any other primate in Africa. During this survey in north-central Kenya, we encountered these two individuals, and at least two others, in an oasis in the Chalbi Desert. Photo: Yvonne de Jong
