“The Bangweulu Wetlands Management Board is responsible for the law enforcement in the park. The wetlands are constantly patrolled by ZAWA and village scouts. In 2011, 115 poachers were arrested, up from 75 in the year before. The main meat that is being poached is black lechwe.”
