Galapagos land iguanas grow to three to five feet in length and weigh as much as 25 pounds. this one is kept in the Charles Darwin Research Station on Santa Cruz, where the reptiles are bred for reintroduction into the wild part of the island once they have grown to be too big to be preyed on by feral cats and rats.
