This is a small section of the secret path through the maze of small, blocked channels and thick sedgy, grassy floodplains with hippo, elephant and buffalo that Comet uses to get us to Madinari Island and then Mombo. We have done it twice with him now and hope to find this route ourselves next year. Notice the massive animal paths coming onto the northern part of the island.
