Dissecting the Apollo 18 Trailer

This is just the briefest of posts directing your attention to the National Geographic magazine blog, Pop Omnivore, where yours truly got the low-down on the upcoming science-fiction flick Apollo 18—or at least as much as can be gleaned from the two and a half minutes of promotional footage seen above.

Allan Needell, Apollo program curator for the National Air and Space Museum here in Washington, D.C., had some interesting things to say about this supposed “found footage” from a secret moon landing. Check it out!

    What a load. Such imagination to dream up rocks spiders. Sc-Fi channel did the same and called them “ice spiders”. That tome was a flop too with an overall rating of 1 out of 5.

    The idea is interesting but the execution… well…. it just looks like a stupid scream-fest.
